Job summary

GippiCare Support Services is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to assist NDIS participants in the Newborough area, providing person-centred support aligned to individual plans and goals.

You will help with daily living, community participation, and transportation, while upholding dignity, confidentiality and professional boundaries; relevant certificates and a current driver licence are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Disability or related qualification.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred support based on individual needs and support plans
• Assisting with daily living and household activities
• Supporting participants to access the community and attend appointments or activities
• Promoting independence, choice and social inclusion
• Maintaining professional boundaries and participant confidentiality
• Completing required documentation and reporting
• Working collaboratively with participants, families and other support professionals
