Job summary

Valmar Support Services Ltd is seeking caring staff to provide high-quality, person-centred support to older individuals under CHSP and HCP programs across multiple locations in NSW. You will help with personal care, domestic tasks, social support, and community transport while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Role requires First Aid/CPR, a current Australian driver’s licence, and a commitment to WHS and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow support plans while maintaining flexibility to respond to changes in client condition or needs.
• Ability to provide domestic support, personal care, respite and social support to clients with complex needs.
• Understanding and application of wellness, reablement, and restorative care principles.
• Capacity to manage the physical demands of the role, including manual handling, lifting, and transferring clients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide individually negotiated services under CHSP, HCP, Brokerage frameworks for clients in areas such as social support, community transport, domestic assistance, personal care, respite and garden maintenance.
• Assist with medication reminders and prompts as per care plan and scope of practice.
• Assist clients with mobility and use of mobility aids; provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
• Promote independence through daily living skills and supportive conversation, and engage clients with the community.
