Job summary

Healthy Life Community Services in Toowoomba, QLD is seeking female casual Disability Support Workers to join our SIL team, supporting participants to achieve NDIS goals through personal care, daily activities, and community participation.

Roles involve AM/PM shifts, sleepovers, and active night work; mandatory dementia/mental health experience and clearances; competitive hourly rate with casual schedule in Toowoomba SIL homes.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening clearance is mandatory.
• Blue Card certification is required.
• Current Drivers Licence is required.
• First Aid and CPR certificates are mandatory.
• NDIS Workers' Orientation module completion is required.
• Mental Health and/or Dementia experience is mandatory.
• Experience using a hoist is desirable.
• MAYBO or CPI Training is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in attaining positive outcomes aligned with their NDIS plan.
• Provide Personal Care and Activities of Daily Living support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Work independently within the community or participant's home.
• Participate in corporate and community events as needed.
• Transport participants to services and appointments.
• Deliver high-quality support across varying levels of need.
• Provide detailed reports after each shift.
