Job summary

Bright Start Supports is a growing disability support service dedicated to empowering people with disability to build independence and participate in their communities. We support NDIS participants with both 1:1 and group activities, helping them develop skills and increase independence.

The role requires compassionate, reliable, and experienced workers who can maintain records, work with families and clinicians, and adapt to varying support needs while upholding person-centred values.

Qualifications

• Must have current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Must have current Working with Children Check.
• Must have current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Must have a valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to participants in home and community settings.
• Deliver both 1:1 and group-based supports.
• Assist participants with daily living activities and community access.
• Support participants to achieve NDIs goals and increase independence.
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes and incident reports.
• Promote participant choice, dignity, and inclusion at all times.
• Collaborate with families, carers and allied health professionals.
