Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is hiring a Disability Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred care in our Beacon Hill SIL group home. This permanent part-time role covers morning, day, evening and awake night shifts, supporting clients to live as independently as possible with dignity and choice.

You'll work with a dedicated team, assist with daily activities, personal care and documentation, and ensure safety and wellbeing for residents across rotating shifts in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P2).
• Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working With Children Check.
• First Aid & CPR.
• Where required, CPA will support or reimburse relevant compliance certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living tasks, including cooking, mealtimes, cleaning, and general household activities.
• Provide personal care in a respectful and dignified manner (e.g., showering, toileting).
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Assist with mobility and manual handling, including the use of specialised equipment such as hoists.
• Monitor and document client wellbeing, reporting any changes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive and positive team environment.
