Job summary

Ability Options is seeking a driven professional to build and maintain relationships with employers, promoting inclusive hiring for participants with disabilities. Based in Campbelltown/NSW, the role requires engaging with employers, identifying opportunities, and supporting participants through assessments and career actions.

Location includes Campbelltown, Ingleburn and Camden with some regional travel. Salary: $68,990 per year plus super, $15,900 in salary packaging and monthly RDOs.

Responsibilities

  • Connecting participants to inclusive job opportunities through reverse marketing, networking and community engagement.
  • Conducting assessments of prospective workplaces ensuring accessibility and cultural safety of participants.
  • Managing ongoing case load of participants including initial appointment, reviewing goals, completing assessments and developing career action plans.
  • Prepare material and facilitate capacity building workshops for small groups of participants.
  • Maintaining accurate records of participant interactions and compliance with guidelines.
  • Provide continuous post-placement support to employers and participants.

The Opportunity

The purpose of this position is to build and maintain relationship with employers, ensuring employers are aware and open to hiring individuals with disabilities. You will focus on engaging with employers and identifying suitable job opportunities that match each participant’s skills and goals.

Location: Campbelltown, Ingleburn and Camden NSW (some travel may be required across the region)

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Driver's Licence (minimum P2).
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance and Motor Vehicle Registration.
