The Salvation Army Australia, via Employment Plus, is hiring an Employment Consultant to support people with disabilities, injuries or health conditions toward sustainable employment in Launceston and surrounding areas. You’ll engage with participants, connect with local employers, and provide personalised, outcomes-focused assistance.

The role offers permanent full-time hours, a 9-day fortnight or monthly RDO, and full training with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment services or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• Driver's license and access to own car for travel between sites.

Responsabilités

• Build supportive relationships with participants and employers.
• Assist with resumes, job applications and interview preparation.
• Travel across Launceston region to provide participant support.
