Job summary

The Salvation Army Employment Plus is seeking an Employment Consultant at the Gungahlin site in Canberra, ACT. You will work with participants in the Workforce Australia program to support them to overcome barriers and transition into the workforce.

You will manage a high-volume caseload, actively engage job seekers, and tailor support to secure sustainable employment outcomes while addressing barriers and promoting workforce readiness.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident self-starter who thrives on targets.
Experience in achieving and exceeding KPI's.
Computer skills with MS Office essential.
Computer skills and MS Office knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

Manage a high-volume caseload of job seekers.
Actively engage with 'work ready' job seekers to secure sustainable employment outcomes.
Identify barriers preventing jobseekers from being job ready and address them.
Provide participants with tools and confidence to enter the workforce.
Apply problem-solving and resilience to maximise employment outcomes.
