Job summary

genU, a not-for-profit organisation, is seeking an Employment Coach to support people with disability, injury, illness or other barriers toward meaningful employment through the Inclusive Employment Australia program.

You will build relationships with participants, identify strengths, coordinate training and supports, and connect with local employers to create job opportunities while ensuring compliance with Workforce Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate guidance will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work with participants to understand strengths and goals to match employment opportunities.
• Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting unique skills.
• Link participants with training, health and community supports for long-term success.
