Job summary

genU is seeking an Employment Coach for the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program. You’ll support people with disability, injury, illness, or other barriers on their journey to meaningful employment, building relationships and delivering personalised, practical support to help participants become job ready and sustainable in the workforce.

You’ll work within the MatchWorks team to remove barriers to employment and connect job seekers with opportunities, leveraging training and community

Qualifications

• Highly developed communication skills to provide relevant supports to participants and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Experience in customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy setting.

Responsibilities

• Understand participants' strengths and goals to match them with employment opportunities.
• Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting participants' skills.
• Link participants with training, health and community supports for long-term success.
• Develop practical career plans that unlock potential and boost confidence.
