Job summary

VERTO in Dubbo is seeking an Employer Engagement Consultant to connect local employers with participants seeking meaningful employment in the Far West Orana region. You will build trusted employer relationships, identify workforce opportunities and advocate for individuals who need support to enter or re-enter the workforce.

This is not a traditional sales role; success comes from genuine relationship building, understanding participant needs and creating sustainable employment outcomes for

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with both participants and employers.
• Understanding of challenges faced by people experiencing barriers to employment.
• Genuine passion for helping people achieve positive outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage varied workload.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across the Far West Orana region.
• Identify employment opportunities and workforce needs within local businesses.
• Advocate for participants and promote inclusive employment benefits.
• Collaborate with Employment Consultants to connect participants with job opportunities.
• Support employers and participants through recruitment and placement processes.
• Attend networking events, employer forums and community activities to strengthen partnerships.
• Contribute to positive employment outcomes for people facing barriers to work.

Full-time position based in Dubbo servicing the Far West Orana Region.

VERTO is looking for an Employer Engagement Consultant to connect local employers with participants seeking meaningful employment. Working across the Far West Orana region, you'll build strong business relationships, identify workforce opportunities, and advocate for individuals who need support to enter or return to the workforce.

This is not a traditional sales role. Success comes from building trusted relationships with employers, understanding participant needs, and creating sustainable employment outcomes for people facing barriers to work.
