Job summary

VERTO is a not-for-profit organisation delivering Employment Services across the Far West Orana region. We are seeking an Employer Engagement Consultant based in Dubbo to connect local employers with participants seeking meaningful employment.

In this role you will build trusted employer relationships, identify workforce opportunities and advocate for individuals who need support to enter or return to work.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with participants and employers.
• Understanding of barriers to employment and inclusive work.
• Genuine passion for helping people achieve positive outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage varying workload.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across the Far West Orana region.
• Identify employment opportunities and workforce needs within local businesses.
• Advocate for participants and promote the benefits of inclusive employment.
• Collaborate with Employment Consultants to connect participants with suitable job opportunities.
• Support employers and participants throughout the recruitment and placement process.
• Attend networking events, employer forums and community activities to strengthen local partnerships.
• Contribute to positive employment outcomes for people facing barriers to work.

Full-time position based in Dubbo servicing the Far West Orana Region.

VERTO is looking for an Employer Engagement Consultant to connect local employers with participants seeking meaningful employment. Working across the Far West Orana region, you'll build strong business relationships, identify workforce opportunities, and advocate for individuals who need support to enter or return to the workforce.

This is not a traditional sales role. Success comes from building trusted relationships with employers, understanding participant needs, and creating sustainable employment outcomes for people facing barriers to work.
