Job summary

Ampol is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to support leaders with ER case management and advice. This 15-month max-term contract is based in Alexandria, NSW with hybrid working arrangements and exposure to a diverse ER portfolio.

You will interpret policies and legislation, manage investigations, disciplinary actions and terminations, and coach leaders through ER processes while strengthening governance and risk management across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ER or HR advisor experience with hands-on case management.
• Knowledge of Australian Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment law.
• Ability to analyse complex issues and provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to engage leaders at all levels.
• Hybrid work flexibility and capability to work across locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ER case management across the business.
• Provide advice on investigations, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Interpret and apply employment policies and legislation.
• Coach leaders through ER processes and meetings.
• Develop and maintain ER procedures and documentation.
