Job summary

Belle Property Hunter Region is seeking a Junior Property Manager to join our team in East Maitland NSW. This full-time role offers a terrific opportunity to develop your career in residential property management while working alongside experienced managers to deliver outstanding client service.

You will assist with tenant communications, inspections, maintenance coordination, record keeping and lease administration, while learning NSW tenancy legislation and property management best practices

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time management skills to multitask effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new property management software.
• Customer-focused approach with professional handling of difficult situations.
• Attention to detail with financial and legal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tenant communication, including responding to maintenance requests, rent enquiries and general correspondence.
• Support the coordination and scheduling of property inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate property records, files and documentation in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Conduct property walkthroughs and prepare reports on property condition and maintenance issues.
• Support the management of routine maintenance and emergency repairs, liaising with contractors and service providers.
• Assist with lease renewals, bond administration and move-in/move-out procedures.
• Provide administrative support to property managers including scheduling, data entry and filing.
• Help investigate and resolve tenant disputes or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Support compliance activities and assist with legislative requirements relevant to residential property management.
