Launch Housing in Melbourne is recruiting for an Assistant Development Manager role within the Projects team. This permanent full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) is based at Collingwood, with a salary of $46.70 per hour plus superannuation and benefits.

You will support feasibility, procurement, tendering, governance and delivery, coordinating consultants and progress across multiple housing projects to meet milestones and budgets.

Competenze

• Experience in property development, project management or project coordination.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in design, property development, construction, planning or a related discipline.
• Understanding of the development lifecycle, including feasibility, procurement, delivery and handover.
• Strong organisational, analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to build relationships with internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to Launch Housing’s values, including creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment.

Mansioni

• Support the assessment and feasibility of new housing and redevelopment opportunities.
• Coordinate consultants, project briefs, tender documentation and procurement activities.
• Assist with planning approvals, funding pathways and project governance.
• Monitor project budgets, programmes, risks and milestones, escalating issues when required.
• Support project delivery, contract administration, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate practical completion, defects management and handover to asset and tenancy teams.
• Contribute to improving systems, processes and project delivery outcomes.
