Job summary

The Department of Families Fairness and Housing is seeking a Principal Project Manager – Development Partnerships in Melbourne to advance social and affordable housing through partnerships with Community Housing Providers, developers and builders.

You will identify potential development sites, assess feasibility, and manage land transactions while maintaining stakeholder relationships and compliance with land policy. Strong project management and contract experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in property analysis and redevelopment feasibility.
• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement with state government landholding agencies.
• Strong project management, attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic analysis to develop the property portfolio pipeline in the short, medium and long term.
• Be the main contact point responsible and lead Homes Victoria’s key projects with Housing Australia and through hands-on management with Development partners.
• Forward plan to unlock barriers and deliver projects by working autonomously and providing strategic resolutions.
