Aurawell Rehab in New South Wales is seeking a professional Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming first contact for patients across Gateshead and Belmont. This permanent part-time position is 0.4 FTE, with shifts on Tuesdays and Fridays and an immediate start available.

You will greet patients, manage calls and emails, book appointments, handle billing, and support medics with basic admin tasks. The role requires discretion, reliability, and familiarity with practice software.

Responsibilities

• Book, confirm, reschedule and manage appointments.
• Prepare, open and close consulting rooms.
• Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records.
• Process billing, receipting and payments.
• Prepare Medicare, DVA and private health fund claims.
• Liaise with hospitals, specialists, GPs and allied health providers.
• Maintain stock and order office and clinical supplies.
