Job summary

Careers in Demand Pty is seeking an experienced electrical educator to lead hands-on workshop sessions and classroom teaching at the Cairns campus. You will mentor students, assess competency, and help connect theory to on-the-job practice while maintaining records and preparing resources.

Based in Cairns with some regional travel, you’ll join an established team. Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 may be available to support you.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology and a current electrical work licence.
• Training and assessment qualification preferred or underway.

Responsibilities

• Lead practical workshop sessions and classroom learning for electrical trades.
• Assess competency and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare lessons and maintain student records.
• Contribute to training resources and help maintain a safe learning environment.
• Travel to regional campuses as required.
