Job summary

CoreStaff Darwin is recruiting for Electrotechnology Lecturers. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Electricians to take the next step in their careers and pass their valuable industry knowledge on to the next generation.

You’ll be supported as you transition into teaching, with complete training from an experienced team. Relocation assistance is available including travel, relocation of household and personal effects and temporary accommodation.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical and/or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Unrestricted Electrical Workers Licence or ability to obtain NT licence with RTO support.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based training and assessment per VET standards.
• Facilitate flexible training modes (face-to-face, blended, online, workplace-based).
• Conduct entry, workplace, and RPL assessments to determine competency.
• Develop and maintain training resources aligned with packages and standards.
• Plan learning and provide support and flexible assessment strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records, scheduling and progression tracking.
• Prepare classrooms, laboratories and learning materials for delivery.
