Job summary

MineARC Systems is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Perth-based engineering and production team in Kewdale. This hands-on role covers assembly, testing, fault finding, repair and commissioning of MineARC's electronic and communication systems used in mining and industrial environments.

You will work with Production and Engineering to deliver reliable products that protect lives, with state-of-the-art facilities and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience with PCB assembly, soldering and rework.
  • Exposure to embedded systems, communications equipment, telemetry or industrial electronics.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of QAQC standards or ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and complete products.
  • Perform diagnostics, fault finding and repair of PCBs, wiring harnesses and control systems.
  • Support product testing, verification and validation activities.
  • Assist engineers with prototype builds and development testing.
  • Collaborate with Production to improve quality, efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure work aligns with MineARC quality and safety standards.

MineARC Systems are searching for an Electronics Technician to join our growing Production team in Kewdale

MineARC Systems is seeking a motivated and hands-on Electronics Technician to join our Perth-based engineering and production team. This role is responsible for the assembly, testing, fault finding, repair, and commissioning of MineARC's electronic and communication systems used in mining, tunnelling, industrial, and emergency response environments.
Working with the Production and Engineering teams you will contribute to the delivery of reliable, high-quality products that help protect lives in some of the world's most demanding operating environments.

The Role:
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and complete products
  • Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and repair of PCBs, wiring harnesses, sensors, communication devices, and control systems
  • Support product testing, verification, and validation activities
  • Assist engineers with prototype builds and development testing
  • Work closely with Production to improve product quality, efficiency, and reliability
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with MineARC quality and safety standards
About You:
  • Experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and rework
  • Exposure to embedded systems, communications equipment, telemetry, or industrial electronics
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Surface Mount Technology experience would be advantageous
  • Experience assembling, testing, and repairing electronic equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of QAQC standards or experience in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing business
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
