Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations is seeking an experienced Mine Technician – Mine Systems to join our dedicated team at the WA Goldfields site. You will maintain and repair fleet management, radio communications, and related systems to support safe, reliable mining operations.

The role requires hands-on installation, fault finding, and system commissioning of VHF/UHF radios, fleet management hardware, and high-precision guidance systems.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining and fault finding radio communications equipment and Fleet Management Systems.
• Experience in the configuration and programming of communication devices.
• Aptitude for learning technical material and are detail orientated.
• Understanding of Microwave PTP, PTMP based radio and antennae systems.
• The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholder’s.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining VHF/UHF communications and mobile fleet management system hardware and software
• Installing and commissioning of High Precision Machine Guidance Systems and Fleet Management Systems
• Installing and maintaining point to point microwave and WiFi mesh systems and associated applications
• Preventative maintenance through regular inspections to ensure equipment meets safe working requirements
• Assisting with mining databases and reporting
• Maintaining communication and Fleet Management System parts inventory

Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for an experienced Mine Technician – Mine Systems to join our established and dedicated team.

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. The Role

The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for maintaining the integrity of all Mine Systems by performing maintenance and repairs of fleet management, voice radios and associated systems hardware.

You will be responsible for:
