Job summary

RCT – Powered by Epiroc is seeking a hands-on Product Technician for our Kewdale, Western Australia, manufacturing team. You will assemble electronic products, wiring harnesses and sub-assemblies, following production drawings and work instructions to deliver high-quality technology for mining applications.

You will read orders, use hand and power tools, and perform quality checks to ensure electrical and dimensional accuracy while maintaining a safe, organised workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly.
• Ability to read assembly drawings or work instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and basic soldering.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, products and sub-assemblies to specification.
• Read and interpret work orders and assembly drawings.
• Use hand and power tools to crimp, solder, rivet, bolt, screw and secure components.
• Assemble and install wiring, connectors and harnesses.
• Manufacture wiring looms and cable harnesses, including terminating connectors.
• Perform quality checks and adjustments to meet electrical and dimensional requirements.
• Safely perform manual handling tasks and keep a clean workspace.
• Support the Production team with other duties as required.
