Job summary

iExpert Werribee is seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join its team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will diagnose faults, repair and maintain electronic devices, replacing defective electronic components, testing repaired equipment and ensuring devices operate correctly before being returned to customers.

The role requires hands-on experience with mobile phones and electronic devices, including component-level repairs, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in electronics or Certificate IV; or 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of components, circuitry, wiring and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to interpret technical information and follow repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Examine, inspect and test mobile phones and other electronic equipment to identify faults.
• Diagnose faults using testing equipment and procedures.
• Disassemble devices to access defective components for replacement.
• Repair, replace worn components and reassemble devices to spec.
• Test repaired equipment and perform adjustments for proper function.
• Document faults, repairs and parts replaced; ensure safe work area.
