Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Repair Technician to join our remote support team, serving customers across Australia. You will diagnose and repair a range of electronic devices, guide customers through troubleshooting, and manage remote diagnostics from a home-based office.

The role emphasizes accuracy, efficient repair solutions, and strong knowledge of components, soldering, and testing equipment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Electronics Repair Technician or similar repair role.
Knowledge of electronic components, circuit diagrams and soldering techniques.
Proficiency with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setup.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electronic devices and systems using diagnostic equipment and software.
Perform component-level repairs and replacements on circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets performance and quality standards.
Document all repair actions, parts used and test results accurately in the service management system.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers on repair processes and device maintenance.
Stay abreast of new electronic technologies and repair techniques relevant to the products serviced.
