Job summary

Echo Fix is a local family owned and operated manufacturer of world class high end audio equipment for use in studios and on stage around the world. An exciting opportunity exists for a Casual Electronics Assembler to join the team.

Typical Hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm, with casual employment. You will assemble and test Audio Effects units, operate SMT production equipment safely, perform through-hole soldering, PCB assembly, inspection and rework, and maintain a clean, safe environment while

Qualifications

• Experience soldering SMT and through-hole components.
• Experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or related hands-on production.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Able to work independently and manage output.
• Commitment to following safety procedures, quality standards and workplace policies.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Electronics Assembler to join the team!

• Assembly and testing of Audio Effects units
• Operate SMT production equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform through-hole soldering
• Carry out PCB assembly, inspection and rework to a high standard
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferable, but additional training will be provided as needed.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team‑based environment
• Experience soldering SMT and through-hole components
• Previous experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or a related hands‑on production role is preferable (entry‑level candidates with a strong interest in electronics will also be considered)
• Confidence and experience with hand and power tools
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own output
• Commitment to following safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace policies at all times
