Southern Cross Electronic Security is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician for national field service supporting TOMRA Collections Australia. The role covers CCTV, access control, networking, and low-voltage installations across Sydney, regional NSW, and interstate locations.

You will travel approximately 50 overnight days per year, with accommodation arranged by the company. A NSW Security Licence is preferred, and full Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Strong cabling, installation and fault-finding skills are essential.
• Experience in electronic security, data/communications or related field service.
• Driver's licence and working rights in Australia are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and fault-find CCTV systems.
• Manage access control and electronic locking systems.
• Work with network and communications equipment.
• Handle structured cabling and terminations.
• Install conduits and equipment for projects.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Upgrade equipment and systems as needed.
• Support depot and container fit-outs.
• Perform low-voltage electronic installations.
• Document service reports and job completions.
• Photograph and document completed work.
