Job summary

Indigo People in Sydney is expanding its electronic security team and is seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician.

You will install and commission integrated security systems, work with access control, CCTV, alarms and intercoms, and provide fault finding and maintenance across sites. This role blends installation projects with service troubleshooting, offering varied hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience within the electronic security industry.
Strong experience with Access Control systems.
Experience with platforms such as Inner Range Integriti, Tecom Challenger, Tecom C4 and Gallagher.
Experience with Video Management Systems and NVR platforms (Genetec, March Networks, Milestone).
Experience with IP CCTV, VMS platforms, alarms, intercom and access control systems.
Well presented with excellent communication, time management and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Installation and commissioning of integrated security systems.
Working with Access Control, CCTV, alarms and intercom systems.
Installing and deploying new security infrastructure and system fit offs.
Fault finding and troubleshooting existing security systems.
Repairs, diagnostics and preventative maintenance across alarm and CCTV systems.
Supporting both project installations and service call outs.
Liaising with clients on technical matters and system performance.
Managing your own schedule and working independently across field jobs.
Delivering high quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.
