Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Service Engineer to join a collaborative team supporting investigation of customer complaints and root-cause analysis on electromechanical medical devices.

You will document findings, develop training materials, assist with field service issues, and liaise with Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure robust resolutions. A hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving and communication skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Tertiary engineering degree in mechanical/electromechanical/electronics
• Experience as Service/Technical Support/Manufacturing Engineer in regulated environments (medical devices preferred)
• Hands-on troubleshooting with electromechanical equipment
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer complaints and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and work instructions
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electromechanical medical devices
• Support installation activities and escalated field service issues
• Conduct returned product investigations and technical assessments
• Liaise with Service, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering teams
• Develop training materials and support technical training initiatives
• Assist with customer responses and resolution of complex technical issues
