Job summary

Jag X is seeking A-Grade Electricians within Manufacturing with expertise in testing and commissioning standalone power systems and charging equipment. You will join a high-performing team delivering cutting-edge renewable energy products to mining, renewables and infrastructure projects across WA.

This full-time permanent role is based at the Kewdale Workshop, offering a 38-hour week with potential overtime evenings and weekends, and flexible roster options including a 4-day week.

Qualifications

• WA, A-Grade Electrical Licence & Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Previous experience testing and commissioning standalone power systems and electrical products; maintenance, production or construction experience.
• Australian Driver's Licence.
• CPR/LVR & First Aid advantageous.
• HV Switching desirable.
• Pass pre-employment medical and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and test electrical equipment including Standalone Power Systems, Mobile Switchrooms and Charging Equipment before delivery to sites.
• Log test results and appliance details into asset register.
• Coordinate with teams to update stakeholders on build timeframes.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Adhere to safety procedures on site.

Job description

We are on the lookout for A-Grade Electricians – within Manufacturing who have experience within the following: Testing and Commissioning of, Electrical Switchgear, Control Systems, Standalone Power Systems and Charging Equipment from 360kw to 1.4mw.

You will be part of a very successful team that has grown rapidly over the last 12 months working on cutting edge renewable energy systems and products to be delivered to major mining, renewables and infrastructure projects across WA.

This is a fulltime permanent position based in our clients Kewdale Workshop, Monday to Friday with a minimum of 38hrs per week plus O/T evenings and weekends at the client's discretion.

Flexible roster options with early start and finish times as well as late start and finish times, with a 4-day work week also an option.

Job Description:

• Diagnostic testing of electrical equipment such as Standalone Power Systems, Mobile Switchrooms and Charging Equipment before it's sent to the clients sites within mining, construction and utilities
• Log all test results and appliance details into the company's asset register database
• The ability to liaise with other employees and the leadership team, communicating across the business to keep the stakeholders up to date with the project build timeframes and project completion schedules
• The ability to problem solve and come up with solutions to resolve issues that may arise
• Follow and implement safety procedures in accordance with site requirements

Skills and Experience:

• WA, A-Grade Electrical Licence & Electrical Trade Qualification
• Previous experience testing and commissioning standalone power systems and other manufactured electrical products as well as working within electrical maintenance, production or construction
• Australian Driver's License
• CPR/LVR & First Aid would be advantageous
• HV Switching (Desirable)
• Meet intended testing requirements, adhere to industry standards, meet customer specifications and ensure testing
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screens
