Job summary

Spencer Ogden seeks an experienced Commissioning Lead to own a growing HV Testing & Commissioning division across Australia. You will influence business strategy, lead technical teams and manage key client relationships, delivering major projects with strong earnings potential.

The role offers travel, a M-F roster for leadership, OT rates after 7.6 hours and double time on weekends, with opportunities to work on multiple electrical installations across sites.

Qualifications

• Australian Electrical Trade Qualification required.
• Current White Card and CPR/LVR certification required.
• Current Driver's Licence required.
• Experience in HV testing and commissioning with leadership experience.
• Experience in power generation or utility infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing HV testing, commissioning and maintenance across multiple sites.
• Leading, mentoring and developing HV Test Technicians, Supervisors and field personnel.
• Managing workforce planning, resource allocation and project scheduling.
• Coordinating labour, equipment, subcontractors and project resources.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting project delivery, commercial outcomes and operational performance.
• Reviewing technical documentation, drawings and specifications.
• Providing technical leadership and problem-solving support to project teams.
• Driving safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Managing project costs, approvals and reporting requirements.
