Job summary

LVL80 NSW Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced electrician to support electrical maintenance, servicing and fault-finding on cranes and lifting equipment across the Mulgrave yard and project sites. The role requires a NSW Electrical Licence and proven experience as a qualified electrician.

You will perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics and repairs, while ensuring safety and compliance with standards. The position offers a full-time role within a growing cranes and lifting equipment business.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence – essential.
• Demonstrated experience working as a qualified electrician.
• Current driver's licence.
• Construction Industry White Card, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment.
• Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Inspecting, testing and troubleshooting electrical components and systems.
• Identifying and rectifying electrical faults to minimise equipment downtime.
• Assisting with equipment preparation, inspections and repairs.
• Attending project sites to assist with servicing, breakdowns and repairs as required.
• Completing relevant service reports, inspections and maintenance documentation.
• Working closely with our workshop, service and operations teams.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards, procedures and manufacturer specifications.

Job description

You will be involved in the electrical maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair of cranes and associated lifting equipment, working across our Mulgrave yard and project sites as required.

Key responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment
• Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

About you

• Current NSW Electrical Licence – essential
• Demonstrated experience working as a qualified electrician
• Strong electrical fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience with industrial electrical systems, machinery or equipment
• Experience working with cranes, hoists or other lifting equipment highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A practical, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
• Current driver's licence
• Construction Industry White Card, or willingness to obtain one
• Competitive hourly rates ranging from $55.65 to $70.78 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Full-time employment with an established cranes and lifting business
• Applicable allowances and employment conditions in accordance with the relevant LVL80 Enterprise Agreement
