Morson Edge Australia is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Electrician to join our Perth team. This role involves installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of overhead cranes and electrical systems across industrial sites.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, preventive/reactive maintenance, and repair of motors, VSDs, and control components, while upholding safety standards and providing clear service documentation.

Qualifications

• Electrical industry experience in crane or heavy equipment environments.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and installation of overhead cranes and hoists
• Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical control systems
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Repair and replacement of motors, VSDs, limit switches, and pendants
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements
• Completing service reports and documentation
