Job summary

Redfern Flinn Lifting Equipment in Melbourne is seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician to join us as a Crane Service Technician. You’ll perform fault finding, servicing, installation and upgrades on cranes and lifting equipment across-site.

This field-service role is hands-on, requires height work and a customer-first approach. You’ll report to the Service Manager and receive a company vehicle, 4-weekly RDO, and ongoing training to specialise in crane systems.

Electrician for Crane Service Technician - Northern Suburbs Melbourne

Redfern Flinn Lifting Equipment - Thomastown VIC

Redfern Flinn Lifting Equipment is a well-established Australian business specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries.

We're growing - and we're looking for a licensed Industrial Electrician who wants to step into a hands-on, varied field service role as a Crane Service Technician.

This is not a repetitive workshop role. You'll be out on-site working on a wide variety of equipment, including:

• Overhead cranes & hoists
• Jib cranes
• Vehicle hoists & loading cranes
• Vacuum lifters and lifting systems

Your day-to-day will include:

• Fault finding and breakdown repairs
• Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Installation and upgrades
• Working at heights (with full safety support and training)

You'll work alongside an experienced team and report directly to the Service Manager.
