Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking an Underground Electrician for Tritton Operations near Nyngan, NSW. You will install and maintain LV/HV networks, data and communications, and repair electrical systems on mobile and remote equipment to support safe, continuous mining.

Ideal candidates hold Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, NSW Electrical Licence, and a current manual C Class Licence. Underground hardrock mining experience, PLC familiarity, and HV switching are assets.

• Current NSW Electrical Licence (unrestricted).
• Open Manual C Class Driver's Licence (essential).
• Experience in Underground Hardrock Mining with Sandvik Automation and Development Drills.

Job description

We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for one more incredible person to join the team based at our Tritton Operation as an Underground Electrician.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for installing and maintaining both low-voltage and high-voltage networks, data and communication systems and repair complex electrical systems on mobile and remote-controlled equipment to facilitate safe and continuous mining operations.

What you Bring:

With demonstrated experience in Underground Hardrock Mining working with Sandvick Automation and Development Drills, you will also hold the following:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• Current, unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence
• Open Manual C Class Drivers Licence essential (must be current and proficient in the operation of a manual 4wd)

It will also be an asset to Tritton operations if you possess the following:

• High Voltage Switching Ticket
• Low Voltage Rescue and Senior First Aid Certificate
• Skills to operate mobile plant for performance testing purposes.
• Familiarity with PLC systems.

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan andCobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% ownedand operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, wearetransitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised millfor processing.
