Aeris Resources Limited invites applications for a Graduate Geologist at the Tritton Open Cut Operations in New South Wales. You will participate in geological data collection, grade control, ore spotting and sampling to support production.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Geology qualification (or equivalent Earth Science) is required.
• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence is required.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with geological software packages is preferred.
• Exposure to open-cut mining operations is an advantage.
• 4WD competency certification is desirable.
• First Aid certification is desirable.

The Nitty Gritty

Kick-start your career in mining with an exciting opportunity as a Graduate Geologist, working alongside a high-performing Geology and Technical Services team. In this role, you’ll contribute to safe, efficient, and cost-effective mining operations through geological data collection, grade control, ore spotting, sampling, and reconciliation activities.

Designed to accelerate your professional development, this position offers hands-on experience across grade control, production geology, geological modelling, and mine planning within a dynamic operational mining environment. You’ll work closely with experienced operational and technical teams, gaining practical industry exposure and building the skills needed for a successful career in geology and mining.

What you Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or equivalent Earth Science discipline. (required)


• Current Australian Manual Driver’s License. (required)


• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced mining environment.


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.


• Previous vacation work or practical mining exposure.


• Experience with geological software packages.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, weare are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
