Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited seeks an LV Fitter for Cracow Gold Operations in Queensland. You will be hands-on with mobile plant, inspecting engines, diagnosing faults, and performing routine maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

Role requires trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, air-conditioning qualification, and relevant high-risk licences. FIFO/DIDO/residential options and family-friendly roster are available.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent recognised mechanical trade.
• Air-conditioning servicing qualification and Air-Con refrigerant handling license.
• High Risk Work Licences (Forklift, EWP, Dogging or Rigging). (Highly Regarded)
• Manual C Class Drivers Licence.
• HR Driver's Licence (Highly Regarded).
• Strong diagnostic skills allowing for planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to be completed in timely manner.
• Ability to complete assigned work without direct supervision.
• Solid experience maintaining light vehicles, mobile equipment or mining equipment in a heavy industrial environment.

The Nitty Gritty

Be the driving force behind reliable, high-performing machinery. In this role, you’ll get hands-on with mobile plant and equipment—inspecting engines, diagnosing and fixing faults, carrying out routine maintenance, and stripping down and rebuilding critical components to keep everything running smoothly.

What you Bring:

• Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent recognised mechanical trade.
• Air-conditioning servicing qualification & Air-Con refrigerant handling license
• High Risk Work Licences (Forklift, EWP, Dogging or Rigging). (Highly Regarded)
