Job summary

Boral Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to maintain electrical assets across a large industrial site, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and project work.

You will work with operations, reliability, and engineering teams, contribute to plant reliability, and participate in shutdowns. The role is permanent full-time with overtime, RDOs, site allowances, mentoring, training, and career development within a safety-focused team.

• Industrial electrical experience in manufacturing/mining/heavy industry.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Your next opportunity:

As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's electrical assets to ensure safe and reliable plant operation. This hands-on role offers a diverse range of maintenance, fault-finding, and project work within a large industrial manufacturing environment.

What you will do:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities safely and efficiently.


• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical maintenance tasks.


• Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.


• Install, upgrade, and commission electrical equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and site requirements.


• Maintain motors, drives, control systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.


• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant reliability and performance.


• Work closely with operations, reliability, mechanical maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve site objectives.


• Participate in intermittent shift work and provide support during plant shutdowns and major maintenance activities.

What We Are Looking For

• A current Electrical Trade Qualification.


• Industrial electrical experience, preferably within manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, or related environments.


• Experience with motors, drives, motor control centres, and control systems.


• A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.


• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.


• Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.


• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team.


• An Electrical Supervisor's Licence or equivalent qualification will be highly regarded.
