Job summary

Qualifications

• A current Electrical Trade Qualification (Australia).
• Industrial electrical experience in manufacturing/mining/heavy industry preferred.
• Experience with motors, drives, motor control centres and control systems.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Electrical Supervisor's Licence or equivalent highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
• Install, upgrade, and commission electrical equipment per Australian Standards and site requirements.
• Maintain motors, drives, control systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and performance.
• Work with operations, reliability, mechanical maintenance, and engineering teams to meet site objectives.
• Participate in intermittent shift work and support plant shutdowns and major maintenance activities.

Job description

As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's electrical assets to ensure safe and reliable plant operation. This hands-on role offers a diverse range of maintenance, fault-finding, and project work within a large industrial manufacturing environment.

What you will do:

What We Are Looking For

• A current Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Industrial electrical experience, preferably within manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, or related environments.
• Experience with motors, drives, motor control centres, and control systems.

• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
