Job summary

Boral Concrete is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - Fixed Plant in Brisbane to lead maintenance across South East Queensland. You will manage contractors, coordinate shutdowns and partner with operational leaders to boost reliability, safety and asset performance across sites.

The role requires a mechanical trade qualification, supervisory experience and strong contractor management. A Tool of Trade vehicle is provided, with a permanent full-time contract and clear career progression

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification required (Maintenance Fitter preferred).
• Experience supervising maintenance activities.
• Strong contractor management and shutdown planning experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
• Effective communication with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant breakdown responses and supervise maintenance activities across sites.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise fixed plant maintenance across multiple sites.
• Manage contractors and ensure safety and efficiency of works.
• Lead shutdown planning and execution to minimize operational disruption.
• Partner with Area Managers and site teams to prioritise maintenance needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability and cost outcomes.

Your next opportunity

We're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - Fixed Plant to lead maintenance performance across our South East Queensland operations. This autonomous, Brisbane-based role will see you manage contractors, coordinate shutdowns and partner with operational leaders to improve reliability, safety and asset performance across multiple sites.

Ideally you will live South Brisbane but have daily flexibility to travel to any of our South East Queensland locations.

Your day will involve:

• Co-ordinationg plant breakdown response in the event of site breakdowns
• Planning, coordinating and supervising fixed plant maintenance activities across multiple sites
• Managing contractors and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
• Leading shutdown planning and execution to minimize operational disruption
• Partnering with Area Managers and site teams to prioritise maintenance requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve plant reliability, maintenance performance and cost outcomes

What are we looking for?

• Mechanical trade qualification (Maintenance Fitter preferred, Boilermaker or similar considered)
• Experience supervising maintenance activities
• Strong contractor management and shutdown planning experience
