Job summary

Fortescue Iron Bridge project is seeking an Electrical Technical Coordinator to lead and maintain fixed plant electrical systems. Based on FIFO roster ex Perth, you will drive technical improvements and training, ensuring safety and compliance across electrical assets.

The role suits an experienced electrical professional with strong problem-solving abilities, leadership, and a passion for developing teams and improving reliability in a challenging mining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an electrical fixed plant role.
• Proven PLC instrumentation and VSD fault finding expertise.
• A Class Electrical Licence and High Voltage Switching certification.
• Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and electrical statutory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with SAP and instrumentation qualifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for all electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Provide technical support to supervisors and 2ICs.
• Work with Engineering to manage capital replacements and upgrades.
• Oversee electrical projects to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ensure the availability of critical spares to mitigate operational risks.
• Drive technical training programs for supervisory teams.
