Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Reliability team at a major WA mining operation. You’ll be the electrical SME, supporting safe, reliable operation of a large-scale processing plant while mentoring engineers and guiding maintenance teams.

This hands-on role focuses on fault-finding, root cause analysis and improvement initiatives, working with operations, utilities and maintenance, with a FIFO roster from Perth and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required.
• Experience in mining/mineral processing or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience mentoring/leading engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the site's electrical technical authority and SME.
• Lead electrical fault finding and investigations.
• Identify reliability risks and drive improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Review vendor reports and engineering recommendations.
• Support shutdown planning and execution.
