Job summary

Talent International is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Supervisor for a FIFO position from Perth to the Pilbara. The role runs a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster with 12-hour days and up to AUD 1,260 plus Super, WA-based candidates only.

You will oversee safe testing, energisation, and handover of electrical systems, coordinating technicians, electricians, and multidisciplinary teams on major iron ore development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of electrical commissioning experience.
• Strong knowledge of HV/HVLV electrical systems and protection schemes.
• Experience with mining infrastructure including HV distribution, substations and conveyors.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Proven leadership in FIFO environments.
• Excellent communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage commissioning schedules aligned with construction milestones.
• Lead and mentor commissioning technicians and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation verification, pre-precommissioning checks and testing.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE policies and standards.
• Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.
