Job summary
Fortescue at Eliwana in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team supporting the Ore Processing facility. The role follows a FIFO roster from Perth, with the 7D/7N/14R pattern.
You will perform maintenance on fixed plant, respond to faults, and participate in shutdowns while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical standards. The ideal candidate holds an electrical trade qualification, WA A-class licence, HV switching knowledge, and PLC/control experience,
Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification.
- WA A-class electrical workers licence (current).
- HV switching and high voltage ticket.
- Experience in PLC and control communication systems.
- Experience in maintenance in a continuous plant environment (2+ years).
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives.
- Experience with electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems.
- Experience with SAP (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Scoping continuous improvement opportunities
- Raising notifications and work orders
- Breakdown and fault finding on Fixed Plant
- Preventative maintenance on Fixed Plant
- Modular and shutdown maintenance
- Statutory testing and inspections
