Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer FIFO for a large-scale processing plant in Western Australia. The role focuses on electrical maintenance engineering, reliability improvement, and project scoping to enhance throughput.

You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams, lead fault finding and root cause analysis, scope sustaining capital projects, and mentor junior engineers while delivering practical engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree is required.
• Experience in maintenance engineering and project scoping.
• Experience in mining/mineral processing or heavy industry.
• Exposure to HV/LV, VSDs, motors, switchgear, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electrical assets across a fixed processing plant.
• Lead fault finding, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Scope and develop sustaining capital and improvement projects.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and project teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
• Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Mentor and support junior engineers where required.
