Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is recruiting a Supervisor - Electrical for the Sybella Wind Farm near Mount Isa. You will supervise on-site electrical construction activities, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across live substations and HV works.

We seek an Electrical Trade Qualified supervisor with experience in renewables or major infrastructure, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple fronts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification required.
• Extensive supervisory experience in electrical construction.
• Experience in substations, HV works, renewables, or major infrastructure (highly regarded).
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Solid understanding of safety systems, QA requirements and site compliance.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong planning, organisation and people management capability.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site-based electrical construction activities.
• Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices to ensure productivity, quality and compliance.
• Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and associated services.
• Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations.
• Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives.
• Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation requirements are met.
• Monitor progress, workforce performance and timesheets.
• Support workforce development, inductions and compliance training.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and site leadership.
