Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for the Appin Project in NSW. Lead electrical teams to safely deliver project outcomes and maintain shaft winding systems with compliance and operational excellence.

You will report to the Project Manager and oversee multiple electrical assets while guiding maintenance strategies and ensuring high safety standards. FIFO/DIDO options may be available for experienced personnel.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical preferred).
• Experience with powered winding systems and coal mining equipment is highly desirable.
• Leadership experience managing crews in high risk environments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Current driver's licence and ability to obtain National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and reliability of powered winding systems and shaft electrical infrastructure.
• Conduct route cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate electrical works with engineering and operations.
• Provide guidance to the electrical team and foster continuous improvement.
• Monitor system performance data and drive corrective actions.
