Downer Group in Australia is seeking an Electrical Secondary Systems Engineer to join our Power engineering team in Brisbane and Adelaide. You will design and deliver secondary systems for high-voltage substations and collaborate with project teams, clients, and suppliers.

This role offers a flexible environment, career growth, and the chance to work on major infrastructure projects within a leading ASX-listed company. You should have HV substation experience and RPEQ accreditation.

Competenze

Must have design, construction or commissioning experience on utility substations.
Electrical engineering qualification is required.
Five years' experience in substation electrical engineering with RPEQ accreditation.
Knowledge of HV substation design, layouts and T&D components.
Familiarity with secondary protection, SCADA, transformer monitoring, and AC/DC supply systems.
Ability to develop and read single-line diagrams, logic diagrams, and cable schedules.
Experience producing design packages and drawing registers.
Understanding of QA processes across the project lifecycle.
