Aurecon, a leading design, engineering and advisory firm, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer, Secondary Systems in its Transmission & Distribution team. You will design and deliver substation secondary systems (up to 500kV), lead engineering projects, and mentor junior engineers to deliver safe, reliable and sustainable solutions for clients across Australia and beyond.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adhere to quality standards, and contribute to proposals while expanding

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in High Voltage Secondary Substation design and project delivery.
• Proven ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Demonstrated capability in leading design teams and projects.
• Strong track record delivering design projects under quality management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Design and deliver advanced Substation Secondary systems for distribution and transmission networks (up to 500kV).
• Ensure adherence to QA procedures and technical standards.
• Lead and manage engineering projects within defined scopes, ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, primary electrical).
• Contribute to proposals, including scope definition and cost estimation.
• Engage with regional clients, providing expert technical advice and supporting business growth.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
