Job summary

Anglo American is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer (Electrical) to support the Grosvenor Mine's engineering and maintenance team on-site in Moranbah, QLD. You will coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring safety and production targets are delivered, with accountability for shift reports and supervision of trades.

You will lead a team, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement while supporting a range of on-site projects and technological initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a team of professionals to meet targets.
• Strong planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities to meet shift targets.
• Provide technical support, shift management, and quality control of maintenance work.
• Review work orders, track progress, and escalate priority issues.
• Conduct preliminary RCAs on breakdowns and drive improvements.
