Job summary

Grosvenor Mine, Moranbah, is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer (Electrical) to support the on-site engineering and maintenance team. Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safety and production targets are delivered.

You will provide technical support, shift management, and supervision of trades, leading a team to maintain asset integrity and bridge design and practical execution.

Qualifications

• Valid QLD Electrical License required.
• Supervisory qualifications S1, S2, S3 and G2 required.
• Experience in mining maintenance (preferably coal) or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team to deliver targets.
• Experience driving best practice and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance to meet shift safety and production targets.
• Provide technical support, shift management, shift reporting and supervision of trades.
• Issue and review work orders and shift reports, raising actions for priority works.
• Audit trades workmanship and maintenance completion.
• Respond to unplanned variance and breakdowns.
• Conduct preliminary RCAs on breakdowns.
• Support departments to achieve the business plan through process improvements.
